Livius Ilasz has pursued his career both, in the United States and Poland. He has excellent skills and knowledge of Polish and American law. Livius Ilasz is also a Polish patriot. His devotion to Poland was best proven in 2005 when he was a Presidential Candidate in the country election. He published numerous articles on international law subjects. When he came to the United States in the early 1980s to study law and politics he witnessed problems of the Polish community living abroad for the first time. Solution to those problems was always his prime objective, both acting as a lawyer and as a politician.

Currently, Livius Ilasz is an attorney admitted in the State of New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Country of Poland. Additionally, he is license to practice before Federal Courts of the Eastern and Southern District of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
In addition he is licensed to practice before the United States Court of International Trade in New York. Privately, despite being very busy he loves to spend time with his family and enjoys aviation and fly fishing as his hobbies.

Livius Ilasz has participated in works of the Republican Party in the United States by being a Delegate of the State of New Jersey to the Convention of the Republican Party in Washington D.C. where he encouraged the Republican Senators to support the Poland’s accession into NATO. He also participated in lobbying American politicians towards eliminating the visa requirement for Poles who intend to visit United States.
